Bridgewater Flooring —

Warranty & Protection Plan

Our Promise to You

At Bridgewater Flooring, every installation reflects craftsmanship, precision, and long-term performance. We proudly stand behind our work with the Bridgewater Guarantee — a 12-Month Workmanship Warranty covering installation-related defects.

In addition, every product we install is backed by its own manufacturer warranty, which typically ranges from 10 years to lifetime for residential use (terms vary by product and application).

Together, these protections ensure your investment is covered from how it was installed to how it performs.

What’s Covered (and Not Covered)

12-Month Workmanship Warranty

Bridgewater Flooring provides a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of installation completion.

This warranty covers installation-related defects for flooring, tile, and shower projects that are determined to be the direct result of improper installation.

Covered Under Workmanship Warranty:

Uneven surfaces caused by improper subfloor or substrate preparation

• Gaps, buckling, lifting, or cracking resulting from improper installation techniques

• Grout, caulk, or waterproofing failures caused by workmanship defects

• Adhesive failure due to installer error

• Any other issue directly resulting from installation error or substandard workmanship

If a covered workmanship defect is confirmed, Bridgewater Flooring will, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the affected area, or

• Replace the affected portion of the installation

Bridgewater Flooring reserves the right to attempt repair prior to replacement.

Repairs performed under this warranty do not extend or reset the original warranty term.

Coverage is limited strictly to the original scope of work performed.

What Is Not Covered:

While we stand firmly behind the quality of our work, certain conditions fall outside the scope of this workmanship warranty.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Improper use, abuse, or neglect

• Failure to follow manufacturer-recommended care and maintenance procedures

• Normal wear and aging (scratches, fading, grout discoloration, minor settling)

• Moisture intrusion, plumbing leaks, appliance leaks, flooding, or water damage not caused by installation error

• Structural or foundation movement, slab cracking, or building settlement

• Pre-existing substrate, slab, or framing conditions

• Environmental conditions outside manufacturer specifications

• Damage caused by other contractors, movers, pets, or occupants

• Unauthorized alterations, refinishing, coating, or repairs performed by others

• Acts of God, storms, fire, pests, or unforeseen events beyond our control

Matching of color, dye lot, or finish outside the affected repair area is not guaranteed.

Manufacturer Warranty

Each flooring and tile product we install carries its own manufacturer warranty, which may include:

• Manufacturing defects

• Premature wear-through or finish failure

• Delamination or material failure

• Color fading or discoloration

• Stain or pet-related warranties (on select products)

Manufacturer warranties vary by product and application. Commercial installations may carry different warranty terms.

Bridgewater Flooring will assist in coordinating manufacturer claims when applicable; however, manufacturer warranty decisions are determined solely by the manufacturer.

Please refer to your product’s specific manufacturer warranty documentation for full coverage terms and conditions.

Duration of Coverage

The Bridgewater Guarantee provides 12 months of workmanship coverage from the date of installation completion.

Coverage applies only to:

• The original purchaser

To preserve coverage and ensure long-term performance:

• Follow all manufacturer-recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures
